The New hirist.com Mobile App for Android & iOS

You can make flight or hotel bookings, purchase products on your mobile device, and now you CAN also APPLY for Tech jobs on the go.

The new hirist mobile app for Android and iOS provides a one stop shop for your job seeking needs. Whether you are actively on the hunt for a new job or just keeping an eye out, the new app comes packed with the core hirist.com features you have come to rely on to help you manage your job search.

Let’s take a detailed tour through all the new features that are present and we’re pretty sure, you’ll love the new app as much as we do!

1. Orange is the new IN!

The new interface features vibrant colors and a simplistic login screen that allows you to register, sign in to your account or simply have a look around.

2. Customizable search

Every person has unique job search requirements and we understand that. To take a more tailored approach, you can use Advanced Search to filter jobs based on the functional area relevant to your job search.

3. Personalized Job Feed

We know you have a lot on your plate, so we have done some of the heavy lifting for you. Now you can access your job feed with a single click. Your job feed is automatically populated with relevant jobs based on the tags/keywords you are following.

And yes, there are filters (location & years of experience) within your job feed so that you can narrow down to that perfect job.

4. Applying to Jobs

The new app allows you to seamlessly apply to a job of your choice with a single click. The Job Description page gives you a detailed overview of the job along with other key details (posted by, date posted on, location & experience range).

Click on the apply button and watch the magic unfold! Post confirmation, you’ll be redirected to a list of similar jobs.

5. Profile Page

Your main profile page allows you to edit your personal information (which will then be shared with recruiters for all future applications) and access your applied and saved jobs.

Note: At this point you cannot upload a new resume via the app. We’ll have that feature included in the next version. In case you wish to update your resume, please login via the website and the change will be reflected in the app for all subsequent applications.

6. Applied Jobs & Saved Jobs

We have made it easier for you to remember what jobs you’ve already applied against by having an “Applied Jobs” section. This will have a history of all your applications.

Similarly, jobs that you “Save” for future reference can be found under the “Saved Jobs” section.
